Once a year, an important little publication arrives in my mailbox. That publication is Windfall, a journal showcasing Australian haiku by Australian poets. Each issue celebrates the experience of urban and rural life in Australia, bringing together haiku that depict our seasons, landscapes, flora and fauna.
The new edition of Windfall is again beautifully presented due to the efforts of Beverley George (editor), Ron C Moss (cover design) and Peter Macrow from Blue Giraffe Press in Hobart (publisher). Here’s a taste of Windfall Issue 5:

Submissions for each annual edition of Windfall are accepted in July only. Submission Guidelines and subscription arrangements are available from the Australian Haiku Society website.
