My new book, written in collaboration with Vanessa Proctor from Sydney, is ready for launch. Blowing Up Balloons (BUB) is a joyful collection of haiku about making babies, having babies and being a parent. BUB is a great gift for new Mums or for anyone who has ever been a parent.

A big thank you to our publisher, Jim Kacian from Red Moon Press in the USA, for his patience and good humour, and for turning out such a great looking book.

As Vanessa lives in Sydney and I live in Yass, we are going to launch BUB twice.

The Sydney launch will take place at 2pm on Saturday 25 March at The Children’s Bookshop in Beecroft, Sydney. If you are in the Sydney area, you are most welcome to come along and have your copy of Blowing Up Balloons signed on the day by both authors.

The second launch will take place at 2pm the following Saturday, 1 April, at Tootsie’s gallery and café in Yass. Anyone in the Yass Valley or Canberra region is welcome and both authors will again be present to sign books. Tootsie’s is a fun venue and you are sure to enjoy a memorable afternoon.

I’ll post more details about the two book launches in coming weeks but, in the meantime, make sure you put at least one of our launches in your diary!
