The final Brush With Poetry for 2018 will be held on Sunday 25 November.

Brush With Poetry, which provides a wonderful afternoon of open mic poetry, is organised by the Binalong Arts Group. Entry is free, though a small donation is appreciated.

As always, Brush With Poetry will kick off at 2:00pm so please arrive around 1:30pm, or earlier if you would like to have lunch. The venue is Café On Queen, located at 15 Queen Street, Binalong, New South Wales.

Café On Queen is open from 9:00am and will be serving food throughout the day. A full café menu is available including coffee, cake and a range of lunch options. The café has loads of country character and offers various indoor and outdoor locations to eat. The garden area is lovely on a sunny day.

MCs for the day will be award-winning performance poet, Robyn Sykes, and myself. Brush With Poetry always includes a mix of traditional bush poetry, contemporary poetry and sometimes a musical performance. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed so either bring along a poem to present or simply enjoy the entertainment.
