The Brush With Poetry is back again for 2019. Enjoy a wonderful afternoon of open mic poetry in the picturesque village of Binalong, New South Wales.

The date is Sunday 31 March 2019 and the venue is the Café On Queen at 15 Queen St, Binalong. Please arrive at 1:30pm for a 2:00pm start. Brush With Poetry is a welcoming and relaxed afternoon so either bring along a poem to present or simply enjoy the entertainment.

The poetry will offer a mix of styles including contemporary and bush poetry in a friendly and supportive environment. The event will be convened by award-winning poet, Robyn Sykes, on behalf of the Binalong Arts Group Inc. Entry is free (though donations are appreciated) and the atmosphere is always warm.

Coffee, cake and light lunches are available from the Café On Queen, while patrons can also bring their own wine or beer if they wish.

Further Brush With Poetry afternoons will take place on the final Sunday in May, July, September and November so please put those dates in your diary.
