Issue 10 of Christine Villa’s twice yearly video combining short-form poetry, art and music is now available from her Frameless Sky website.
This current issue features black and white images by English photographer, Phil Openshaw, together with music by Tim Beek from the Netherlands and Benjamin Tissot from France. The music and art provides an engaging background for poetry from around the world.
The full 20 minute video is available for purchase from the Frameless Sky website, but Christine has also posted a haunting sneak preview of Issue 10 on her site and on YouTube. You can watch the preview here for free.
Poems from the video include:
lush grass
the moon shadows
of barefoot lovers
(Andre Surridge, New Zealand)
one by one our shadows
become what we are not
moonlight tales
(Theresa Okafor, Nigeria)
This issue of Frameless Sky also includes a couple of my haiku, for example:
around sunset
the call of a currawong
fades
Frameless Sky videos are always a delight with their captivating interplay of words, music and images. Enjoy the sample of Issue 10, check out the previous issues and maybe even purchase a copy of your favourite video.
