Spring is here, the sun is shining and the flowers are blooming. So it’s the perfect time to get along to Binalong for the next Brush With Poetry which will be held on Sunday, 29 September 2019.

The venue will be the Café on Queen at 15 Queen Street, Binalong, New South Wales. Coffee, cake and light lunches will be available and you are welcome to bring your own drinks such as wine or beer. Please arrive around 1:30pm so we can get underway at 2:00pm.

The MCs for the afternoon will be well known Binalong poet, Lizz Murphy, and myself. Lizz has released eight books of poetry and her work is widely published in Australia and other countries.

As always, the readings at Brush With Poetry will include a range of styles. You can be sure to hear bush poetry, contemporary poetry and there may be music or song as well. Come along and present some poems or just enjoy an entertaining afternoon.

The event is free though small donations are always welcome to help with running costs. Brush With Poetry is run by the Binalong Arts Group Inc.
