Vanessa Proctor and myself are thrilled that Owen Bullock has agreed to launch our book, Blowing Up Balloons: baby poems for parents, at Tootsie’s in Yass. Owen is the author of four collections of poetry and recently submitted his thesis for a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Canberra.

Alex Webbe, a member of the local Yass Valley Writer’s Group, has kindly agreed to MC the event and keep us all in order. And, of course, Vanessa and myself will both be present to read from BUB and sign copies of the book.

Tootsie’s has a great atmosphere, so come early and enjoy the hospitality of Michaela and her team.

Admission is free, children are welcome and there is plenty of off-street parking on the Warroo Road side of the building.
